Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) earned a spot among the 100 companies selected for Crain’s Chicago Business’s 2018 Best Places to Work in Chicago. IPM ranked 21st on the list, which was featured in the April 16 issue of Crain’s.
Since 2008, the listing has recognized the 100 Chicago-area companies that excel in creating quality workplaces for their employees. Inclusion is based on two criteria: an evaluation of each participating company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics (25 percent of the score); and individual employee surveys that gauge their experiences and attitudes in the workplace (75 percent of the score). The combined scores determine the best companies and the final ranking.
“What’s special about the Crain’s listing is that the most heavily weighted scores are based on what employees themselves have to say about their companies,” said C. Richard Panico, founder, president and CEO of IPM. “For the past 30 years, IPM has been committed to maintaining a values-based, caring culture where our employees can flourish and truly be part of an extended family. Our inclusion on this list validates that, as Our Mission & Beliefs proclaims, our family members are our most important assets and the source of our differentiation.”
The full ranking—plus two lists that spotlight the employers who rank especially high among women and baby boomers—is available on the Crain’s Chicago Business website.
