IPM will sponsor the American Pharma & Biotech Project Delivery & CapEx Summit, taking place Oct. 14-16, 2026, in Boston. The summit brings together senior leaders in pharmaceutical and biotech capital project delivery to discuss strategies for improving project execution and capital investment decisions.

As part of this year’s program, IPM Pharma Growth Director Amber Monaghan and Senior Director of Operational Excellence Virgil Yumo will present “Scaling Manufacturing: Why What Works Small Breaks Big.” The session will examine why successful pilot and lab processes can break down at production scale and how to identify the real constraint before expanding equipment or facilities. They will also share a practical framework to evaluate risk and make smarter capital investment decisions, based on real-world examples.
In addition, Pharma Growth Director Joe Goodwin will participate in the panel discussion “Strategic Collaboration & Delivery Alignment Across Pharma Projects.” The conversation will focus on how to improve alignment among key stakeholders for better outcomes.
IPM Managing Director Harry Georgiades, who leads the firm’s pharmaceuticals and biotechnology practice, will join the team onsite to connect with attendees and discuss capital project execution, manufacturing scale-up, and operational performance initiatives.
