For the second year in a row, Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) has landed on the Crain’s Chicago Business Best Places to Work in Chicago ranking. IPM moved up in the top 100 ranking, to number 16 from 21 in 2018. The company ranked number 4 among midsize companies, those with 100 to 249 employees.
The Best Places to Work list was published in the April 15 issue of Crain’s Chicago Business, and is featured in a special section online. The article noted IPM’s 7% voluntary turnover and perks such as 401(k) match, paying 100% of medical premiums, tuition reimbursement, and career development program.
The recognition validates IPM’s emphasis on employee satisfaction. The company’s Mission & Beliefs states that employees must be challenged, provided with growth opportunities, and treated fairly. From the strategic planning to client engagements to corporate philanthropic efforts, IPM considers staff and individual needs to ensure a value-based culture.
Crain’s has been publishing the list since 2008. In 2018, they expanded the ranking from 25 to 100 Best Places to Work. Best Companies Group fielded the studies.
Employees across the Chicago area responded to a survey that asked about workplace experience and culture. Employee responses made up 75% of each company’s score. The remainder was based on employer info about benefits, policies, practices, and other information.
